This big stout bay gelding has been ridden alot BUT has never been entered in a barrel race. He had 90 days of professional barrel training when he was younger but never got the opportunity to compete. He's been trail ridden ever since. 

Kodi rides great, extremely broke at the poll, moves off your leg, nice stop, quietly backs. He's responsive and very respectful of the bit.  It will not take much to get him sharpened up and ready to enter.  His dam has produced a 1D winning barrel horse that is tough anywhere!!  So here's your chance to snatch up a nice stout gelding and uncover all his potential for yourself.  The first day I rode him, I loped him through the barrels and poles. This is a good looking, stout made mare. She is a heeling horse and breakaway horse. She's light mouthed, light sided, and is broke. She will side pass, stop smooth, back quietly all on a loose rein. Would be better for experienced heeler b/c she's so light sided, breakway she would fit older youther on up. Good in the box, will squat in the corner a little if you are really heavy handed. Good ground and barn manners. Loads good,  stands tied.

16 y/o AQHA gelding - This nice big gelding is a SOLID, SOLID barrel horse. If you want your kids to be competitive in High School or Youth Rodeos, you really need to take a look at this gelding. He has let several kids (both experienced and NON experienced) win money and/or points at TOUGH Missouri High School Rodeos. He has a great personality and even though he is right at 16H tall, he is known as a gentle giant. This type of horse aren't normally this reasonably priced. He doesn't have any vices to deal with. He does need maintence (joint supplement or bute) if you are going to be hauling hard. He does crib. Price definitely reflects this. He's been a great horse for this family, but daughter is going to college and he doesn't need to just hang out in the pasture. $5000
